No matter which POP3 email account you have, the
chances are that you regularly receive unsolicited and unwanted emails. This is
annoying enough, but to make matters worse, you have to download them first in
order to delete them.
Install SoftMailCheck, however, and you can filter out all those
unwanted emails before they get downloaded, thereby reducing your time online
(and hence the cost) along with any unwanted clutter on your hard drive.
|
SoftMailCheck filters your email according to your own pre-set
specifications. Any email addresses that you wish to receive mail from need to
be added to the Approve list, while any addresses from which you do not wish to
receive mail need to be entered into the Delete list.
All
incoming email is checked against these lists, and any email from an address in
the Delete list is automatically removed from the server.
Should an email arrive which isn't in either list, you will be
asked whether you wish to add it to the appropriate list.
When you next use your email client to read your emails, only
those that have been approved will be downloaded, with all others being deleted
at server level.
Note: SoftMailCheck
will not work with AOL, Hotmail or Compuserve, as these accounts do not support
the SMTP or POP email standards. |
