SoftStart provides a quick and easy way to launch applications from the keyboard without using a mouse. If you have many applications installed on your PC and find it a nuisance selecting the "Start" button, and then navigating the menus with a mouse, trackball, pointer, trackpad etc. then SoftStart will save you time and make life much easier. You can set-up shortcuts to documents you use on a regular basis, e.g. business plan, accounts, customer database. This utility enables you to keep your desktop clear and tidy without losing the ability to open applications and documents quickly and easily.

Create shortcuts to documents and launch them fast!
SoftStart once launched expects that the first thing you type will be a shortcut. It checks the shortcut you have entered after every character with the shortcuts you have already entered. Having entered your shortcut you can now start to use it whenever you want to launch an application or document.
Start SoftStart:
Via the Keyboard -  Hold down the "Shift" and "Ctrl" key and press the "Space" bar whilst still pressing down the above two keys. SoftStart will Launch.
Via SoftOffice -  Click on the SoftStart icon.  SoftStart will Launch.
Type in the shortcut you wish to use. Click the Add button Select the application or document from the window. The Shortcut will be operational the next time you start SoftStart
