| What is email merge? |
|
| You create an email and
merge personalised data into each email (similar to mail merge in Microsoft
Word). Each email message can be addressed to the individual contact, e.g.
“Dear John” instead of “Dear Customer” and you can place
personalised data within the body of the email. |

| How do I use SoftBulkEmail? |
- Select the "Open Data File" button
and locate the .csv (Comma Separated Variable) file which contains the data to
merge.
- Add the text for the email in the
"Details" box.
- Click the "Start sending Email"
button. If you are not connected to the Internet, Windows will automatically
start the connection process. Once connected the Emails will start sending.

| What is a CSV file? |
|
| The CSV (Comma delimited)
file format saves only the text and values as they are displayed in cells of an
active spreadsheet. All rows and all characters in each cell are saved. Columns
of data are separated by commas, and each row of data ends in a carriage
return. If a cell contains a comma, the cell contents are enclosed in double
quotation marks. |
