What is email merge?

You create an email and merge personalised data into each email (similar to mail merge in Microsoft Word). Each email message can be addressed to the individual contact, e.g. “Dear John” instead of “Dear Customer” and you can place personalised data within the body of the email.
What is a CSV file?

The CSV (Comma Separated Variable) file format saves only the text and values as they are displayed in cells of an active spreadsheet. All rows and all characters in each cell are saved. Columns of data are separated by commas, and each row of data ends in a carriage return. If a cell contains a comma, the cell contents are enclosed in double quotation marks.
Can I send formatted HTML in my emails?

You can compose HTML emails using your usual HTML editor, e.g. FrontPage, Netscape Composer. To get you started in preparing HTML emails we recommend you use Netscape Composer (part of Netscape). You don't have to know HTML to use Netscape Composer, it is as easy to use as a word processor. You can add images, colours, font styles, links to other pages, etc.
Can I include website links in my emails?

Yes, just type in the full URL including the http://. The recipient's email software will highlight and link to the web address. To link to an email address, type mailto:email@address.com.
How do I fill in my End-User Details?

You will be asked to fill in the following details:
  • My Name - Enter your full name
  • Company - Enter your Company name if applicable
  • Email Address - Enter your valid email address
  • Mobile Number - Enter mobile number if applicable
  • Server Document Path - Local Networks
  • SMTP Host - Enter your SMTP Host
  • Dial Prefix - Enter the number required for an outside line if applicable
