Works in demo mode with scanner attached.
   
Solution
The problem is caused by the TWAIN system failing to report an available scanner. To rectify this follow these steps :

  1. Quit SoftCopier if it is running and start the SoftCopier Configuration program (the X icon on the SoftOffice toolbar).
  2. Click the Select Source button and a window will appear listing all available scanners.
  3. Select your scanner and click the Select button.
  4. Exit the configuration program and restart SoftCopier.

If the problem persists please re-install the scanner driver.
