How to use SoftCardManager

Starting SoftCardManager Via the Menu Select Start Select Programs Select BuzzSoft Select SoftCardManager Select the SoftCardManager icon. Via SoftOffice If SoftOffice is installed the toolbar will display the SoftCardManager icon. Click on it and SoftCardManager will start.

Using SoftCardManager Adding Cards Firstly place the business card in the scanner. To add a new card, click on the "Scan" button. The card will be copied and its image displayed in the SoftCardManager window. A form will be displayed which when you fill in the details will add the card to the SoftOffice phone book. If you choose not to add the card select the "Cancel" button and the previous card will be redisplayed. Your personal Business card If the name of the card you are adding matches the name entered in End-User Personal Details the SoftOffice presumes it to be your Business card. This is only relevant when sending emails from SoftOffice applications. You may choose at the point of sending to attach your Business card to these emails. Finding Cards Use the ruler bar to move between cards. The cards are sorted in alphabetical order (by name). Dragging the "bar" will increase the speed with which you move through your cards. Alternatively you can use the "Find" button. After selecting the "Find" button enter the name you want and SoftCardManager will display the Card as soon as it finds it. All names are case converted when searching so it does not matter which case you use to enter the name to find. Printing Cards Click on the "Print" button. You will be able to select which printer to use from the Window displayed. The current Card and its Phone Book information will be printed on one page. When SoftCardManager starts it will do so with its normal size. By using the Windows "re-sizing" buttons (top left of the window) SoftCardManager will maximise the size of the card viewing area for your benefit.
