Problems with Lists

Symptoms
Sometimes new email addresses do not show up in the Approve/Delete lists.
Error message "Cannot create file" will appear.
   
Solution
  1. Create a new shortcut:
    • Open the My Computer icon on the Windows Desktop, select Drive C the Program Files, BuzzSoft and finally Mc.
    • Click with the Right mouse button over the Mc1.exe file and select Send To->Desktop (create shortcut).
    • Rename the shortcut on the Windows Desktop to SoftMailCheck.
    • Always run SoftMailCheck from this new shortcut to ensure files are created in the correct directory.
  2. Edit the Start-> SoftMailCheck 1 Standard Edition Shortcut:
    • Click the Windows Start button the Programs-> BuzzSoft->SoftMailCheck.
    • Use the Right mouse button and click on SoftMailCheck 1 Standard Edition and select Properties from the popup menu.
    • Add the following information to the Start in section on the Shortcut tab:
      C:\Program Files\BuzzSoft\Mc
    • Click OK to save this new information.
