Scanner Problems BuzzSoft Home Page Support
Symptoms
  • Your BuzzSoft product fails to Print
  • Prints Black Page
  • Produces out of memory error
  • Unreadable printouts
  • Scanner locks
  • Blank page produced
   
Solution
To resolve this problem you will need to disable the direct scan program which is located in the system tray. To do this follow these steps:
  1. The system tray is located on the bottom right corner of the display and shows the system time.
  2. There should be a green icon in the shape of a scanner.
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the icon and a prompt will appear saying direct scan.
  4. Use the right mouse button and click once to produce a pop up menu. Select Exit to disable the program. This will enable Softcopier to function properly.

If you wish to disable the direct scan program permanently follow these simple steps:

  1. Click on windows start button then settings and finally taskbar
  2. Click on the start menu program tab and then click on remove
  3. A window will appear showing all the start menu program groups
  4. Scroll down the list until you see a group called startup and click the + sign next to it
  5. This will expand to show a list of programs ran when windows is started
  6. Select the program called Watch and click on remove
