ActiveX/OCX Component
This is a software development toolkit for the development of scanning applications using TWAIN. It comes complete with sample applications with source code for Delphi, Visual Basic and C/C++. The toolkit will work with any language capable of supporting ActiveX/OCX Components running under Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME.
Why TWAIN?
By using TWAIN you can write code for one hardware device, which will then support many imaging devices.

Scanning parameters supported
  • DIB type - Either Device Dependent or Device Independent.
  • UI - Turn Scanner Manufacturers User interface on/off.
  • Contrast.
  • Brightness.
  • AutoBright.
  • BitDepth.
  • PixelType - Black and white, Grayscale, Colour and Palette.
  • Pixel Flavour.
  • DPI - resolution of scan.
  • Units of measurement - Inches, Centimeters or Pixels.
  • ADF - Sets the DLL to scan until the ADF sheetfeeder is empty.
  • x1, y1, x2, y2 - Area to be scanned.
  • Callback function called every time image received.
Licencing Terms
The Free Evaluation version is licenced for 25 scans. At which point you will need to purchase a Development licence.
BuzzTWAIN is supplied with a royalty free licence. You may distribute as many copies of the BuzzTWAIN DLL's royalty free with your applications, provided the total quantity does not exceed 10,000.
